Getting Here

Take BART to the Museum

The Asian Art Museum entrance is only one block away from the Civic Center/UN Plaza BART Station. When exiting the station, follow signs to the UN Plaza exit. After going up the stairs, elevator, or escalator, proceed past the Simón Bolívar statue and cross Hyde Street onto Fulton Street. After one block, turn right on Larkin Street; the museum is on the right-hand side.

Parking

The museum does not have a parking facility, but there are two parking garages within one block of the museum: Civic Center Garage (355 McAllister Street) and UC Law Parking Garage (376 Larkin Street).

See a map of all parking garages in the area.

Museum members receive reduced rates at the UC Law Parking Garage; members will be able to validate their parking ticket onsite at our information desk. (For further information regarding parking rates for members, please contact the Membership department at [email protected].)
