Book Timed Tickets Online in Advance

Timed tickets are required and are quick and easy to reserve. Stay as long as you would like. You can exit and reenter as you need — just show your e-ticket at admissions.

Free First Sundays

Museum admission is free every first Sunday of the month.

Community Access Tickets

Social service agencies and nonprofit groups that serve disadvantaged communities, schools, and youth groups are eligible for complimentary admission to the museum via our Community Access Fund. To apply for these tickets, please email at least two weeks before your proposed visit date. Include an attachment on your organization’s letterhead stating the number of tickets required and the proposed date.

The Asian Art Museum has teamed up with organizations, libraries, and small businesses throughout the Bay Area to offer their employees and patrons the opportunity to visit the museum for free as members for the day. To join or renew please contact us at
